An online monitoring system has been created on the National Portal for Transgender Persons for the Garima Greh’s to login using the username and password provided to them. The system is used to track the activities, beneficiary, staff details and other programmes being conducted at the shelter homes for the transgender community.
Login HereThe main aim of Garima Greh is to provide shelter to Destitute & abandoned Transgender persons with basic amenities like shelter, food, medical care and recreational facilities. Besides that, it will provide support for the capacity-building/skill development of Transgender persons.
Currently there are 12 Garima Greh’s in the country, details of which are provided in case of requirement. Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment aims to have one such shelter homes in every state for the welfare of Transgender persons.
